Here you will find information about the various mixes and CDs released by DJ Skript. Following the links on the left will provide you with more details about each release including the date it was published, the tracklist, album art (if any) and comments about that cd or mix. Almost all mixes are available as free downloads or web streams.
The releases are organized according to what mix or cd series they belong to. Here is some additional information about each series:
Unskripted is the current mix series that almost all new releases get branded under, featuring only the latest in trance and progressive music. Previously, each mix series was dedicated to a specific type of genre or limited by a certain BPM, but with Unskripted, there are no set rules for what kind of songs appear or how long the mix is. I try and release a new mix once every month or two, depending on free time and what new music has been released.
Mixing the latest and greatest in music is fine most of the time but every now and again, sometimes it's fun to go back and listen to the classics. Tales From The Skript was created with this in mind. Combining both new and old tracks, it's the best of both worlds. Created with partying in mind, each volume is great to just push play and forget about it. Aside from Unskripted, this is the only other mix series that is being actively maintained.
The Musical Tranceskripts series showcases more energetic, faster paced trance music while still focusing on the great melodic breakdowns. No new volumes are planned for this series and it is kept here for archiving purposes.
The Mellowdrama series is the polar opposite of the Musical Tranceskripts series in that it focuses more on the slower side of trance and progressive music while still striving to keep track quality and selection high. Certainly not as energetic but each volume is great to listen to on a hot summer day. Sit back, relax, and have some Mellowdrama. No new volumes are planned for this series and it is kept here for archiving purposes.
Every now and again a mix gets made but never released for any number of reasons. These used to wind up in the trash but it's a waste of good music, so The Missing Chapters series was created. Mixes released here should be considered bootlegs or rough drafts at best. They are, however, mastered for the best sound possible. All volumes in this series are available for download.
